Abstract: This conference brings together early-career, mid-career, and senior scholars to assess the current state of research on Chinese Buddhism conducted both within the Greater China region and internationally. It pursues two key aims:
1) To reflect on the evolution of scholarship in the field of Chinese Buddhist Studies and to engage in dialogue about future directions and emerging trends.
2)To establish The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a hub for interdisciplinary Buddhist Studies, fostering a platform that promotes and supports academic research on Chinese Buddhism across the Greater China area and beyond.
