《Daoist-Buddhist Dynamics: Academic Symposium on Cultural Integration along the Silk Road》

To promote the development of cultural studies along the Silk Road, the Centre of Buddhist Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong will host the academic symposium titled “Daoist-Buddhist Dynamics: Academic Symposium on Cultural Integration along the Silk Road.” This conference will bring together more than forty experts and scholars from Mainland China specializing in Dunhuang studies, religious studies, cultural heritage, iconography, and art history. Focusing on the cultural heritage along the Silk Road, the symposium will explore a wide range of topics—including caves, murals, sculptures, migration, and historical geography—from multiple perspectives. Members of the public are warmly invited to register and attend as auditors, and to engage in academic exchange with participating scholars.
